The 70' Long Range Cruiser (LRC) series is designed for a cruising couple; they are easy to handle and maneuver using the hydraulic bow and stern thrusters. The additional steering station in the aft cockpit is designed to make docking a breeze. The distinct looks of the low profile forward pilothouse version and the explorer version are built around three oversized staterooms for extended cruising to your exotic destinations.

The aft pilothouse explorer version offers a larger pilothouse and entertaining area, a protected aft deck at mid-level, and a full flybridge with hardtop, for those times to get away from commotion at dock level or at anchor.

These world cruisers are exceptionally stable, with an extremely comfortable ride, which is the result of the heavy displacement hull of 94 long tons. There is even a more comforting benefit to the American Expedition yachts - they are all overbuilt with the highest quality systems available on the market.  American Expedition offers products, like the take home drive "BAT" (more info here) system as standard, that give peace of mind while underway, that are not standard or options for most companies.

The beautifully crafted yachts are the result of attention to detail and the world-class craftsmanship that American is known for. Our yachts come well equipped and are ready for any voyage upon completion of sea trials and delivery. These robust explorers are fully designed or can be custom designed and built to your particular requirements.
